I ordered G force Chronicle 1911 9mm . Ad specification reads steel slide Aluminum frame. I received steel slide and steel frame After looking into Gforce,.I do not believe Gforce makes aluminum framed 1911s. I wish all retailers would correct their advertisement specifications.. You all would have more satisfied and returning customers.I am still looking for aluminum framed 1911

I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY 1911 ROCK ISLAND ENTRY 45ACP FS. I REMOVED THE BLACK OFF OF IT AND POLISHED IT AND THEN I NICKEL PLATED IT AND ADDED SOME CUSTOM ENGRAVED GRIPS ON IT. I WILL BE ORDERING A OTHER ONE WHEN THE PRICE DROPS BACK DOWN TO WHAT I PAID FOR IT BUT IT'S A VERY GOOD 1911 AND IT SHOOTS REALLY GOOD I HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT. THANK YOU DEHLONEGA ARMORY.

I don't usually buy budget guns, especially 1911's but I have to admit i was pleasantly surprised. The finish is flawless with an acceptable trigger, and the slide to frame fit is tight. The trigger is acceptable with a 5.5LB trigger pull, and the gun ran flawless straight out of the box. No, it's not a custom 1911, but neither is the price tag. Very impressed thus far with the build quality. It is definitely equal to your standard or entry level 1911's offered by big name companies with added extras. Punches well above its price point.

Picked it up at my local FFL+range, only wiped it down, then put 350 rounds through it without a single issue. Great gun for a great price. These are good to go!
best 1911 for the money
after buying 1911 Springfield i bough 1911 from magnum research and was impress how good gun was build in compare to Springfield inside and out and after buying Turkish tisas i was impress even more!!! how tight frame to slide fit was even tighter than my wilson combat edcx9, but after polishing frame feed ramp and barrel lip it start chambering hallow point no problem, polishing internals and replacing trigger from wilson combat to take off ugly pre travel and side to side and up and down play, trigger was bad cut ballcut and chamfer and this gun sits on part with guns for 3000$ if you tape it down name!!! for starter gun plus add some gun smiting best to go !!!
Perfect starter 1911
I've owned a lot of pistols over the years but this is my first 1911. I didn't mind getting something cheap just to dip my toes in the water and see how I like the 1911, but I can't believe how much I like this pistol already.
I gravitated towards this offering in particular because these are made with forged frames, whereas similar offerings (RIA, Tisas, etc) typically use cast frames. Otherwise, it's simply a bone-stock M1911 made to original government specs and priced accordingly.
The extra marks on the right side of the slide are a little unsightly, but that's how most imported pistols are anyway. Mine did have a slight fitment issue where the hammer strut would contact the grip safety when the trigger was pulled, but that was easily fixed by filing the channel just a little deeper.
If you're worried about having the same issue, you can dry fire the pistol at your FFL before transferring. If the grip safety "slaps" the web of your thumb when you dry fire, that would indicates that the hammer strut is contacting the grip safety and that the grip safety channel needs to be slightly deeper. You can decide if it's worth sending it back or fixing it yourself :)
At the range I was expecting to fire a few hundred "break in" rounds but this really needed no break in, it shot 200 rounds of S&B .45 ACP without stoppage and grouped just as well as all my other pistols I've been shooting for years. The simple military sights needed zero adjustment out of the box. I love this thing and I'm looking forward to trying more 1911s in the future!
Decent, but could be better
Expected the slide action to be much smoother considering its lapped and that's what they advertised but it was super gritty until break in where it got better. Overall not a bad gun, but not worth the money imo. At this price you'd be much better off with a Bul or S&W. Trigger is decent though and it's extremely accurate with a real tight barrel lockup. Reliability issues but they got better with WC mags and break in.
Not worth the money
Good tight fit but not always a good thing without tuning. Very accurate, reliability issues that seemed to get better with break-in but most disappointing is how bad the slide action is. Advertised as buttery smooth, their SS Carry has smoother slide action so either this wasn't lapped well or not at all but regardless very disappointing considering it was one of the main reasons I bought it. Other weird things like they use same frame as their other guns and they bevel the well already so the bevel of the magwell sits over the bevel of the frame. Grips are average, checkering is nice but I wouldn't recommend this for the money, you're much better off with a Bul, Magnum research or S&W.

I just sold a Kimber 1911 Target II in stainless. Beautiful pistol. Seldom shot it because of the cost of ammo. Nothing to spend $50 every time out. But I love the look and feel of a 1911. Dahlonega Armory had the best price and selection on the GSG.
So, what is the GSG 1911? It looks the same, feels the same (almost) and weighs the same (almost) as any standard 1911. It is very close in all aspects. I have shot 200 rounds of Blazer and Federal Target. Zero failures after cleaning and lubing the action. there was zero lube on this gun from the factory. The feel is good but I can feel the difference between an alloy and steel. Without careful handling, I see finish wear as becoming a problem. I really have no negatives that would stop me from purchasing this pistol again. Incredible value for the price. Buy it!
