Some things about the pistol are fine. The double action trigger is good for this type of deep conceal pocket carry pistol. It shoots three to four inch groups at 5 yards, and the groups are, for me, about 2 inches high and left of the bullseye. That's not the problem. The problem is failures to feed. The magazine feedlips do not always let the topmost cartridge be stripped off and inserted into the chamber. It's not like the top round goes in at some weird angle or whatnot. It's simply doesn't get out of the magazine. I bought two more magazines, and they have the exact same problem. It as if the feedlips are a little too closely spaced. I put about 150 rounds through the first magazine, and it seems to be working a bit better. This is an unfortunate situation, in that most shooters will simply cast the pistol aside, saying it's a piece of junk. It does what it's supposed to do, after a long break in period on the magazine. Taurus needs to redesign the feedlips, for consistent and reliable feeding of the topmost cartridge each time the trigger is pulled.
